PURPOSE: A positive electrode for a secondary lithium battery is provided to keep positive electrode active material in stable state when the battery is charged/discharged at a high temperature and a high pressure and to obtain excellent cycle properties. CONSTITUTION: A positive electrode for a secondary lithium battery includes a lithium manganese-based compound core and a heat-resistant polymer which is located on the lithium manganese-based compound core. The heat-resistant polymer has a glass transition temperature(Tg) of 80-400°C. The heat- resistant polymer is selected from a group comprising a polyamide resin, a polyimide resin, a polyamide-imide resin, a polyacrylonitrile resin, a polysulfone resin, a polybenzoimidazole resin, a polytetrafluoroethylene resin, or their copolymers. |
