PURPOSE: An electronic component and an electronic component internal substrate are provided to enhance an allowance of an irradiation position of a laser light by highly forming a maximum diameter of a circular region in which the laser light is irradiated. CONSTITUTION: An electronic component main body includes a first main surface and a second main surface with facing each other. The electronic component main body includes a first side(2e) and a second side(2f) with facing each other. The electronic component main body includes a first cross(2c) and a second cross(2d) with facing each other. A first external terminal electrode(5) is located on the first main surface of the electronic component main body. A second external terminal electrode is arranged with separating the first external terminal electrode. An inner electrode is electrically connected with the first external terminal electrode or the second external terminal electrode.
