TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING URL INFORMATION USING MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A transmission system for offering information of broadcasting contents using mobile communications network for watching the corresponding broadcasting contents is provided to transmit the specific information to the mobile terminal in case a user views specific information about a specific object within broadcasting contents. CONSTITUTION: A contents server(400) receives a selection signal of a specific object from a set-top box(200) among the broadcasting contents. The contents server extracts the address information of a web server(500) from the address information of pre-stored specific object. The detailed information of the selected specific object corresponding to the selection signal exists in the address information of the web server. The contents server requests the transmission of the detailed information of the selected specific object to the web server corresponding to the address information.
