PURPOSE: The power circuit of a display device and the display device using the same are provided to boost and output an input voltage using a buck-boost chopper circuit. CONSTITUTION: The power circuit of a display device boosts an input voltage. The power circuit applies a driving voltage to the display device. The driving voltage is higher than the input voltage. A coil charges the electrical charge of the input voltage. A switch unit controls the charge and the discharge of the electrical charge. A capacitor stabilizes an output voltage during charge. An oscillator(101) generates clock signal. A comparator(103) compares the clock signal and the output voltage. A pulse control circuit(104) generates the control signal of the switch unit. A frequency control circuit(102) controls the frequency of the clock signal.
