PURPOSE: A coin exchanging/pay-in system and a method thereof are provided to reduce the cost of manufacturing coins by improving the speed of distribution. CONSTITUTION: A card reader(120) reads credit card information to extract an account number related to a credit card. A controller(140) controls the data communication of the financial computer network to extract an account number related to the credit card. The controller controls display of coin classification/exchange/discharge/information, coupon issuing and printing and outputting of inserted coin information, and warning. An information display part(150) displays the information on result of coin payment and process on a screen.
