PURPOSE: An LCD device is provided to equip a shock absorbing unit on a lower cover, thereby securing stability of a drive IC. CONSTITUTION: A driver IC(Integrated Circuit)(102) is equipped on the second substrate(101b) of a liquid crystal panel(101). A driver IC drives the liquid crystal panel. A back light assembly(103) supplies light to the liquid crystal panel at lower part of the liquid panel. A main support(104) stores the liquid crystal panel and the back light assembly. A lower cover(105) protects a external side of the main support. A shock absorbing unit(105a) expands from the upper side of the one side contiguous to the driver IC.
