PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for separating a glass panel are provided to reduce a material cost and a recycling cost by separating and reusing an upper panel which is not damage. CONSTITUTION: A scribing formation unit forms a scribing line. A pressurization unit(20) downwardly pressurizes the outer side of the upper panel of a glass panel. A supporting unit(30) supports the lower panel of the glass panel. A lifting unit(40) lifts the inner side of the upper panel. An air spray unit(50) sprays air between the inner side of the upper panel and the lower panel.
