PURPOSE: An intellectual property guidance system and a method thereof are provided to easily grasp a trend of a technique related to new patent information, a competitive technology present condition and core technology content by a researcher or developer, thereby helping obtaining patent right of developed technology and protecting pre-owned patent. CONSTITUTION: An information management system(110) collects related information from paper information or patent information. A product matching system(120) extracts a term from the collected related information. The product matching system matches the term with the related products. An applicant management system(130) extracts applicant information from the information of the related products. An information pool operating system(140) extracts a related patent according to similarity. An warning system(150) extracts a candidate applicant according to the similarity.
