Developed is an idea based on the need of extracting constituents from water samples with residues in order to analyse said constituents, from a danger point of view. The mechanical rotor lixiviator is intended to rotate the water samples with residues, said samples being located in containers of 2 litres, and in fastening baskets (9), which are attached to an axle (7), this latter element being joint to an engine (10) by means of a coupler (8) and transmitting the rotating strength required to spin the baskets (9) including the sampled product; the spin is performed at a speed of 30 +-2 RPM useful for generating a mixture between the residues of the water prepared according to the standard NOM-053-SEMARNAT-2005. The mixture is identified as a lixiviate resulting from the samples and which contains the constituents analysed in different analytical tests for characterising the physical and chemical properties thereof and assessing the polluting effects on water and/or soil containing t he same.
