ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An organic light emitting display and a method for driving the same are provided to improve the illuminance uniformity of a displayed image by supplying a desired current to an organic light emitting diode regardless of the threshold voltage of a driving transistor. CONSTITUTION: A scan driver successively supplies scanning signal to scanning lines. A data driver supplies initial power to data lines for a first period. The data driver supplies data signal to data lines for a second period. Pixels(140) are located on cross points of the scanning lines and data lines. The first transistor(M1) of the pixels controls the amount of a current. The current flows from the first power source to the second power source through an organic light emitting diode.
