PURPOSE: A tailgate guide bumper of a vehicle is provided to actively handle the fracturing of a car body assembly by purposely increasing or decreasing the overlapping amount of the guide bumper, which is in the side of a tailgate, according to the generation of fractures of a car body. CONSTITUTION: A tailgate guide bumper of a vehicle comprises: a vehicle body sided guide bumper(10), which is installed in a car body, and wherein a concave groove is formed in one side of the bumper; a tail gate sided guide bumper(20) which is installed in the tailgate in order to be corresponded to the vehicle body sided guide bumper; a pad assembly(30) which is inserted into the concave groove of the vehicle body sided guide bumper and wherein a second fixing nut is injected and molded into one body in the inside; a pad adjusting screw(40) which is combined with the pad assembly by being inserted into the pad assembly and an adjusting screw hole of the vehicle body sided guide bumper; and a spring member which is installed in order to apply elastic force opposite to the pad assembly.
