PURPOSE: A cleaning apparatus for a conveyor belt is provided to prevent conveyed materials from falling under the conveyor belt, thereby minimizing the generation of dust. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning apparatus for a conveyor belt comprises a press pulley(10), a jetting unit, a cleaning unit, and a removal bar(21). The press pulley contacts with the surface of a belt(100) passed a head pulley(110) of a conveyor. The jetting unit sprays cleaning water to between the press pulley and the belt. The cleaning unit is installed on the backend of the press pulley and contacts the belt surface to remove materials attached to the belt surface. The removal bar is located close to the head pulley and contacts the belt passing the head pulley to remove materials attached to the belt.
