PURPOSE: A method of preparing cathode material for high temperature electrolysis is provided to omit a reduction process by directly mixing Ni powder and YSZ powder in a ball milling process. CONSTITUTION: A method of preparing cathode material for high temperature electrolysis comprises following steps. A Ni powder and a Cu powder are mixed with YSZ powder. Terpineol is added. Ni / Cu / YSZ cermet is formed by ball-milling. The volume ratio of Ni powder, Cu powder, and YSZ powder is the range of 10:50:40~50:10:40. The number of rotation of ball milling is 200~500rpm. The ball-milling time is 24~60 hours.
