CHIRAL STATIONARY PHASE AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A chiral stationary phase and a producing method thereof are provided to secure the stability of the phase by grafting polysaccharide polymer derivatives with a vinyl group on the surface of a silica gel using an atom transfer radical polymerization. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a chiral stationary phase comprises the following steps: producing a polysaccharide polymer derivative with a vinyl group by applying the vinyl group to a hydroxy group located on the sixth position of the polysaccharide polymer derivative; producing a silica gel grafted with an initiator by reacting a silica gel including an amine group with 2- bromoisobutyryl bromide; and producing a silica gel grafted with the polysaccharide polymer derivative with the vinyl group by reacting the silica gel grafted with the initiator with 2,2'-bipyridyl and the polysaccharide polymer derivative with the vinyl group.
