PURPOSE: A wireless communication repeater and a method thereof for obtaining gain greater than maximum gain of the existing repeater are provided to increase the output of the repeater due to the standard of the spectral mask. CONSTITUTION: A base station signal processing unit(230) changes a first digital signal inputted from a mobile station signal processing unit(220) into the second base station signal. The base station signal processing unit outputs the second base station signal to a second transceiver(215). The base station signal processing unit changes the second terminal local signal which it is input from the second transceiver into the second digital signal. The base station signal processing unit outputs the second digital signal to the mobile station signal processing unit.
