PURPOSE: A vehicle shock absorber is provided to control the damping force by controlling the fluid flow amount through the fluid flow path change by installing a first- and a second-valve units to selectively change the fluid flow path according to the resonant frequency size of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle shock absorber(1) comprises an external barrel(3) and an internal barrel(5). The external and internal barrels are filled with fluid to provide the damping force against the vertical vibration of a vehicle. A piston(7) is installed on the inner circumferential surface of the internal barrel to be able to vertically move. A plurality of orifices(9) are formed along the circumferential direction at the piston. The internal barrel is divided into a first chamber(11) and a second chamber(13). The piston is installed to be connected to the lower end of a piston rod(15). A third chamber(20) is formed in the lower part of the piston rod.
