PURPOSE: A pressurizer heater sheath is provided to improve the operation lifespan by reducing the residual stress within a heater sheath. CONSTITUTION: A heating element(40) comprises a metal sheath(50) and a resistance heating coil(52). The resistance heating coil is insulated with the metallic sheath with an electrical insulating material(54). Two electric leads(56) are drawn from the rear end of the heating element. The front or the nose end part of the heating element comprises a sharp nose part(58). The sharp nose part comprises a cone-like part(60) and a cylindrical body(62). A sealing welding part(66) is provided between the metallic sheath and the cone-like part.
