PURPOSE: A method and a system for improving beacon acquisition performance to a time slot and an antenna sector reuse in order to offer the simple interference evasion strategy are provided to improve the beacon captured performance. CONSTITUTION: A beacon signal is received from a plurality of base stations having a plurality of sectors of cells in one or more sector in a first time slot. The beacon signal is received among a plurality of sectors of cells from a plurality of base stations in the first time slot and the second time slot. The beacon signal is determined whether to include high quality signal. The beacon signal of one having superior signal qualification is obtained.
