PURPOSE: A hand signal for a crosswalk is provided to enable a controller to smoothly rotate a shield bar and to be semi-permanently utilized by preventing the abrasion of a rotator due to the rotation of the shield bar. CONSTITUTION: A hand signal for a crosswalk comprises a support pillar(110), a support pillar fixture, a bearing(130), a rotator(140), a shield bar(150), and a sign(160). The support pillar is installed at one side of the footway at fixed height. The support pillar fixture fixes the support pillar on the surface. The bearing is installed on the upper end of the support pillar. The rotator is installed at the center of the rotator is rotated in the direction of the roadway and crossway. The shield bar is installed on the upper side of the rotator in the traverse direction. The shield bar opens and closes the roadway and the footway on the crossway. The sign is installed toward the front of the front side of a driver or a pedestrian.
