<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket checking system capable of collecting fares between different areas. <P>SOLUTION: When in entry, area temporal adjustment information is recorded in a ticket such as a Suica, and detail data to an area temporary adjustment station are transmitted to upper equipment as undecided data. Here, the area temporary adjustment information is information about the "area temporary adjustment station" present in a boundary with another area from an entrance station and an "area temporary adjusted fare" that is a fare thereto. When existing from the other area, the read "area temporary adjustment fare" and a fare to an exit station from the "area temporary adjustment station" are added and collected.
