PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at raising the retrieving rate of IC coins as the first objective, and to provide a game machine enabling to raise the retrieving rate of IC coins as the second objective. SOLUTION: The game machine, where IC coin which stores the value information in its memory device is thrown into an insertion slot equipped on the game machine and the game becomes playable by subtracting the game value information pre-established in the game machine from the value information of the thrown-in IC coin, includes the means to distinguish that the value information stored in the memory device of the IC coin is less than the game value information, and the IC coin processing device which outputs a signal that the game is playable and recovers the IC coin into the game machine when the value information determined by the device is at the predetermined value or below and at the same time is not zero.
