PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce odd pedal feeling for a driver when operating a brake pedal during the operation of an automatic brake. SOLUTION: A master cylinder connected to a braking operation element to be operated by the driver is connected to a wheel cylinder via a brake pipe, and the brake pipe is provided with a fluid pressure control circuit capable of regulating fluid pressure of the wheel cylinder. A braking request command value is calculated by satisfying a prescribed operation condition, and the fluid pressure control circuit is controlled so that the fluid pressure of wheel cylinder may be fluid pressure according to the braking request command value. When the operation of the braking operation element is detected at this time, the braking request command value is made smaller with prescribed decreasing gradient, and the prescribed decreasing gradient is made larger as operation speed of the braking operation element in a braking direction is increased.
