CAR POSITION DETECTION DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: a great work burden due to conventional complications and difficulties of a work for precisely attaching a photoelectric device and a shield plate working together with the photoelectric device for detecting a car position; and costs such as costs for mounting brackets for fixing the photoelectric device and the shield plate to the car and a guide rail, respectively. SOLUTION: The car position detection device for an elevator includes a car sill and a landing sill. The car sill is engaged with the bottom part of a car door and includes a depressed part in the car sill and a detector including a sending part on one of the depressed-part surfaces facing each other and a receiving part on the other surface. The landing sill is engaged with the bottom part of a landing door and includes a projected part in the landing sill. The projected part is inserted into the depressed part when the car is landed. The car position is detected from a change in received signals of the detector when the projected part is inserted in the recessed part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
