PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of achieving improvement of operability in replacement of an air filter. SOLUTION: A filter cover 6 constituting the projector is constituted to extend over between one sidewall part and the other sidewall part crossing the one sidewall part in an outside housing, and is journaled to be turnable between a protection position for protecting the air filter relative to the outside housing and a replacing position for replacing the air filter. The outside housing is provided with an engagement receiving part extending in a direction crossing a turning direction of the filter cover 6. An operation lever 7 which has an engagement projection 73 engaged with the engagement receiving part and regulating turning of the filter cover 6 to the replacing position, and is operated from the outside to move between an engaging position where the engagement projection 73 is engaged with the engagement receiving part and a non-engaging position is attached to the filter cover 6.
