PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve cost reduction without causing the enlargement of a device, in a liquid mount measurement device. SOLUTION: The device 1 for measuring the amount of urine that is the liquid amount measurement device includes: a measurement container 2 in which the urine (electrolyte) excreted by a patient is introduced; an electromagnetic valve 3 for discharging the urine stored in the measurement container 2; a measurement terminal 4; a detection part 5; and a control part 6 or the like. The measurement terminal 4 is installed in the measurement container 2, and includes a structure in which the surface of a conductor is covered with a dielectric. When the urine is introduced into the measurement container 2, a capacitor is constituted of the urine introduced into the measurement container 2 and the measurement terminal 4. The detection part 5 detects the amount of the capacity of the capacitor constituted of the urine introduced into the measurement container 2 and the measurement terminal 4 on the basis of an oscillation period of an oscillation circuit having the capacitor constituted of the urine introduced into the measurement container 2 and the measurement terminal 4 as a part thereof.
