A data communication system, a router, a data transmission method and a mobility management method are provided. The data transmission method includes that the first access router receives data; local mapping information database is inquired according to destination ID address of the data, and a transmission route is determined according to the inquired result; data is transmitted, wherein the mapping relation between ID address and local locator address is stored in the local mapping information database.
