ASSISTANCE SEALING APPARATUS FOR AIR VOLUME CONTROL VALVE OF BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: An auxiliary sealing apparatus for the air volume control valve of a shaft furnace and a sealing method using the same are provided to reduce the power consumption and the energy waste and to prevent the noise pollution by the closing operation of the air volume control valve of a shaft furnace. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary sealing apparatus for the air volume control valve(1) of a shaft furnace comprises a valve disc(10), a pressing part(110) and an operation controller(120). The valve disc is to supplement the incomplete sealing. The valve disc is installed at the lower part of the air volume control valve of the shaft furnace. The pressing part selects the pressurization or the pressurization cancellation on the valve disc. The operation controller controls the operation change of the pressurization or the pressurization cancellation on the valve disc. If the complete sealing is not made with the valve disc when the air volume control valve closes, the complete sealing is made by performing the pressurization operation on the valve disc.
