<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device which hardly undergoes fretting wear on the end surface of an inner ring and the end surface of a positioning member axially opposite to the end surface of the inner ring. <P>SOLUTION: A ball assembly 50 is retained and fixed between the axial end surface 55 of a second inner ring 7 and the annular groove 80 at the axial end of a rear lid 3. The ball assembly 50 is composed of multiple balls 70 arranged circumferentially at equal intervals and a rubber annular ball retaining member 69 for retaining the multiple balls 70. In the ball retaining member 69, a portion of the ball 70 is axially projected from one end surface of the ball retaining member 69, and other portion of the ball 70 is axially projected from the other end surface of the ball retaining member 69. The portion of the ball 70 is brought into contact with the annular groove 80, and the other portion of the ball 70 is brought into contact with the end surface 55 of the second inner ring 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
