<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve readability of print data in a document image layout device for printing print data by disposing the print data in a data arrangement region of templates. <P>SOLUTION: The document image layout device has templates having a plurality of data arrangement regions for locating the arrangement positions of print data and disposes a plurality of print data at print positions of the templates respectively for printing. The document image layout device includes: a protrusion determination means (step 206) for determining the protrusion of print data to the data arrangement region; an attribute determination means for determining the attribute of text and non-text for respective print data; a division means for dividing text data into block data that can be disposed in the data arrangement region by regarding two or more adjacent data arrangement regions as one data arrangement region when the print data is text data; and an arrangement order determination means (step 205) for determining the order of arrangement after division processing of a plurality of blocks data to the plurality of data arrangement regions, based on the order of arrangement of text data before division processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
