<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for preventing damage to a part even when a cover member is closed in a state with a unit device attached incorrectly. <P>SOLUTION: A holding member 23 includes a position restricting section 27 for restricting the position of a projection 26 for position restriction that is provided in a unit device 120 to a prescribed holding position and a first guide member 28 and a second guide member 29 for guiding the projection 26 to the position restricting section 27 that are arranged on both sides of the position restricting section 27. When pressing force is applied to the projection 26 on an outer surface side of a cover member 200 in a state with the projection 26 arranged on the second guide member 29, the projection 26 is guided to the position restricting section 27 by having the second guide member 29 displaced elastically by the pressing force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
