SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system in which a master unit can request a job from an appropriate slave unit among a plurality of moving slave units, without making the slave units perform complicated processing or have a special device.

SOLUTION: The master unit 20 includes: an input part 210; a command creation part 220; and a communication part 230. The command creation part 220 includes: a job setting part 222 which creates job information 252 based on instructions from an outside accepted by the input part 210; a request command creation part 224 which creates a request command for requesting the plurality of slave units 30 to transmit status information 254; and a request command creation part 226 which creates a request command using the slave unit 30 of a request destination of the job as a transmitting destination. The slave unit 30 includes: a storage part 330; a communication part 350; and a command processing part 360. The command processing part 360 includes a response processing part 362. The response processing part 362 controls the communication part 350 to transmit status information 334 in the storage part 330 to the master unit 20 according to the request command from the master unit 20.
