PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid for forming an electrolyte capable of stably maintaining a solid shape for a long period of time under high temperatures, and to provide a dye-sensitized solar cell excellent in durability and a solar cell module which are manufactured by using the coating liquid. SOLUTION: This coating liquid for forming the electrolyte of the dye-sensitized solar cell at least contains an electrolyte composed of a redox pair and an ionic liquid, a polymer material, a solvent, and one or more selected from a metal oxide particle and a conductive particle.
