PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power supply which reduces over charge of a main power supply and improves the efficiency of an energy storage unit. SOLUTION: The vehicle power supply includes a DC/DC converter 13, a parallel circuit of the main power supply 19 and a power generator 21, which is electrically connected to a low voltage-side terminal 17 of the DC/DC converter 13, an energy storage unit 31 which is electrically connected to a high voltage-side terminal 27 of the DC/DC converter 13, and a control circuit 33 which is electrically connected to the DC/DC converter 13, the energy storage unit 31 and the main power supply 19. The control circuit 33 detects voltage Vc of the energy storage unit 31 and controls the DC/DC converter 13 so that a lower voltage-side terminal 17 becomes prescribed voltage when voltage Vc of the energy storage unit is lower than a prescribed first threshold V1 and vehicle speed is zero, and charges the energy storage unit 31 to the first threshold V1 by power of the main power supply 19 and the power generator 21.
