<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally-firm material for preventing the tilting of a seam portion, which prevents the tilting of a rising portion for a snow guard. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This material (10) for preventing the tilting of the seam portion includes: a rectangular bottom plate (12) with a predetermined width; a vertical plate (14) which is connected to one edge of the bottom plate in such a manner as to be elongated upward in a vertical direction; an inclined plate (16) which is connected to the other edge of the bottom plate in such a manner as to make an acute angle α with the bottom plate; and a horizontal plate (18) which is connected to an upper edge of the inclined plane in such a manner as to be horizontally elongated on the side opposite to the side of the positioning of the vertical plate.
