Disclosed are a method and a system for preventing browser-based abuse. The method for preventing browser-based abuse comprises the steps of: judging whether a browser function extension module-based access is a malicious access for acquiring data of an Internet browser; and blocking the browser function extension module-based access if the access is judged as a malicious access.
