Provided are a structure for mounting a flexible printed board and a sliding electronic device, which allow a pair of casings to slide relatively in curved/inclined directions while avoiding a significant increase in the thickness of the device.  The structure for mounting a flexible printed board (31), which electrically connects an upper casing (12) and a lower casing (22), that are slidably connected to each other, by being folded back and passed between the sliding opposed surfaces (12b and 22a) of the casings, wherein the heights of the sidewall surfaces (12c and 22c) of the upper casing and the lower casing change curvilinearly along the respective slidable directions, and the sliding opposed surfaces of the upper casing and the lower casing have recessed spaces (15 and 25) formed to accommodate such changes in the curvature and position of the folded-back portion (31a) of the flexible printed board as caused by the sliding actions of the upper casing and the lower casing.
