<p>The invention relates to a polyaniline comprising aniline units and organosulphur units, characterised in that the polyaniline is doped and has a number average degree of polymerisation of between 5 and approximately 50. The invention also relates to a method for producing polyaniline, wherein aniline and at least one organosulphur unit are converted in an oxidative, acid catalysed polymerisation reaction to form a polyaniline derivative. The invention further relates to a coated substrate that is coated with the polyaniline according to the invention and to a method for coating said substrate. In addition, the invention relates to a coating composition that is suitable for coating the substrate and to a method for producing said coating composition. The invention also relates to the use of doped polyaniline that contains sulphur in the main polymer chain for treating water and/or for purifying air and to a purifying reactor for carrying out said purification method.</p> |
