PURPOSE: A rear engine compartment for a bus is provided to prevent the noise resulted from the rear engine from being flowed into the indoor space by not forming a separate hole at the panel for interrupting the noise. CONSTITUTION: A rear engine compartment for a bus comprises square shape pipes(200), a panel(300), a first noise absorption member(600), a second absorption member(700) and a coupling member(800). The square shape pipe are coupled with a side sill(100). The panel is laminated on the top of the square shape pipes. The first noise absorption member is inserted between the square shape pipes. The second noise absorption member is arranged at the bottom of the first noise absorption member. The coupling member couples the first and the second noise absorption members with a bolt.
