<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch transferring medium having a patterned cholesteric liquid crystal layer, with which a patch can be easily transferred to a transferee, which has abrasion resistance and solvent resistance protecting the surface of a medium even after the several times of repeated use and, in addition, by which easily authenticity can be determined, and further which has a hologram. <P>SOLUTION: The patch transfer medium includes: (1) a transferring material consisting of a transparent base material, a first cholesteric liquid crystal layer, a second patterned cholesteric liquid layer, a hologram formed layer and a bonding layer provided on one side of the transparent base material; and (2) a supporting material formed by providing a peelable resin layer on a supporting base material under the condition that patches are formed by applying half-cutting processing to the transferring part of the transferring material so as to keep the patches peelably piled up on the peelable resin layer surface of the supporting material and, in addition, the cholesteric liquid crystal layers have polarizing properties. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
