<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase air volume of the humidified air/cleaned air by reducing ventilation resistance in an air purifying device with a humidifying function. <P>SOLUTION: This air purifying device includes an air purifying means and a humidifying means in a body case 3 having an air inlet 1 and an air outlet 2. The humidifying means includes a humidification filter 6, a humidification filter frame 7, a water container 8, a water tank 4, and a rotating means. The humidification filter frame 7 has a water supply section 9 on its outer peripheral section, and the humidification filter frame 7 is disposed so that the water supply section 9 and the humidification filter 6 are partially soaked in the water at all times. The air purifying device further includes an air distributing means 11 to distribute the air sucked into the body case 3 to the air outlet 2 successively through the air purifying means and the humidification filter 6, a bypass air passage 12 to connect the air purifying means with the air distributing means 11.
