PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition excellent in abrasion resistance against copper alloy, as well as a lubricating oil composition excellent in load resistant power and abrasion resistance against copper alloy. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition includes (A) a cholesteryl ester of a fatty acid or a hydroxy fatty acid, (B)(b-1) a polyvalent alcohol partial fatty acid ester having a hydroxyl number of≥100 and/or (b-2) an 8-30C monovalent alcohol, compounded in a base oil.
