<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding device which is easily manufactured and wherein binding prongs are configured to be easily opened and closed so as to facilitate replacement of leaves. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The binding device includes a plurality of the binding prong parts 12 and a connection part 14 for connecting the binding prong parts. The binding prongs 20, 30 constituting the binding prong parts are protrudedly set from the connection part with an appropriate spaces in the longitudinal direction of the connection part 14. The plurality of binding prongs of one facing side among the binding prongs 20, 30 are constituted to be simultaneously displaced in the longitudinal direction of the connection part, and unlocked from locking parts 22, 32 of the plurality of binding prongs of the other facing side. A pair of facing binding prongs are constituted to be locked to the locking parts 22, 32 of ends formed at free ends 20b, 30b opposite to a base part continued to the connection part to close the binding prong parts 12, and a pair of facing binding prongs are constituted to be unlocked from the locking parts 22, 32 of ends formed at free ends opposite to the base part continued to the connection part to open the binding prong parts 12.
