摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the eccentricity of a rotating disk of a rotary encoder capable of accurately measuring the amount of eccentricity and also shortening measuring time. SOLUTION: One group of linear patterns 210a or more comprising a plurality of linear patterns extending in radial directions at regular intervals in normal line directions are formed in different radial directions in the rotating disk 50 of the rotary encoder with a position at a prescribed distance from the center of a radial scale as a base point. A connecting part 203 of the rotating disk 50 is fitted over a protrusion 220b of a measuring device 220 and mounted to a table 220c. The amount of eccentricity and the direction of eccentricity of the rotating disk are measured on the basis of the position of a linear pattern of which the position in the radial direction matches a linear pattern on the table among each group of linear patterns.
