PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rotary vibration of a spindle side from transmitting to a boring bar of a cutting tool when cutting with a blade of the cutting tool which rotates together with the rotation of a spindle of a machine tool. SOLUTION: The cutting tool (A) includes the boring bar 1 having a connecting part 3 connecting with the spindle of the machine tool at a terminal end and a holding means 5 of the blade 4 provided at the tip of the boring bar. A cylindrical vibration restraining means 10 made of highly elastic carbon fiber is provided outside the boring bar. In addition, such a structure is employed, that the connecting part is coupled with the terminal end of the boring bar via a screw bolt 2 and that a vibration preventive mat 11 is interposed between the terminal end surface of the boring bar and the front surface of the connecting part.
