<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible tube for an endoscope which is not easily crushed even when receiving external force while maintaining flexibility, easily transmits twist force and has elasticity resistance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The flexible tube 26 for the endoscope has a tubular body 32 and a jacket 34 put on so as to cover the outer peripheral surface of the tubular body 32. In the tubular body 32, a through-hole belt part 42 having a plurality of through-holes 42a and an annular belt part 44 in a hole-less state are alternately arrayed long the axial direction of tubular body 32.
