<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately suppress generation of a torque shock in the case of switching an operation line for achieving engine torque. <P>SOLUTION: A controller for an internal combustion engine is applied to a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine, a motor generator, and a battery performing the transfer of power with the motor generator. Switching control means performs switching control of the operation line by setting switching time so as not to generate the torque shock by output limit of the battery in the case of switching the operation line for achieving torque in the internal combustion engine. Thus, reduction of electricity generation power for decrease of torque of the internal combustion engine can be appropriately reduced, and the generation of the torque shock can be suppressed even at the time of the output limit of the battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
