摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a vehicular drive unit, capable of miniaturizing the first electric motor while restraining performance of the first electric motor or an engagement device from getting low, when a differential part is functioned as an electric differential device by operating the first electric motor together with the engagement device. <P>SOLUTION: When the differential part 11 is functioned as the electric differential device, a torque sharing rate R<SB>T</SB>between the first electric motor reaction torque T<SB>M1</SB>and engagement device reaction torque T<SB>K</SB>is changed based on required reaction power torque P<SB>S1</SB>, by a torque sharing rate changing means 82, so that a reaction against engine torque T<SB>E</SB>is received all the time by the engagement device K0, thereby reducing the dependency on the first electric motor M1 for receiving the reaction. A thermal load is distributed by the engagement device K0 and the first electric motor M1, to thereby restrain a heat generation amount of the engagement device K0.
