PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel mounting structure capable of preventing a tire wheel from slipping off from the axle and also precluding scattering of a broken bolt. SOLUTION: In the wheel mounting structure for fixing a vehicle wheel 3 formed by setting a tire 2 on the tire wheel 1, to the axle 4, the axle 4 is fixed with a cover 6 which covers externally a coupling bolt 5 for coupling the tire wheel 1 with the axle 4 and restricts slipping-off of the tire wheel 1 from the axle 4 when releasing the coupling of the tire wheel 1 with the axle 4.
