<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage medium on and from which digital moving image information is recordable and reproducible, and to provide an information reproducing method, an information recording method, and an information reproducing device using the information recording medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the information storage medium, the same place in a video object is redundantly reproducible between different cells in different PGCs, information as to whether the video object has been compressed by MPEG (Moving Picture Expert Group) 2 is included in time information, a time code table includes information regarding a specific unit, and cell time information includes information regarding the number of specific units. The information as to whether the video object has been compressed by the MPEG2 is included in an area different from that of the information regarding the number of specific units, information regarding a sampling frequency of an audio signal in the video object is included in the cell time information, the time code table includes the information regarding the specific unit, and the information regarding the sampling frequency is included in an area different from that of the information regarding the number of specific units.
