<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator including a refrigerating cycle including a check valve to prevent refrigerant noise, capable of filling gas for a leak test from a suction pipe without providing a charge pipe. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: the refrigerating cycle in which a refrigerant discharged from a compressor 1 returns again to the compressor 1, after passing through a condenser 2, a capillary 3, an evaporator 4, an accumulator 5, and the suction pipe 6; and the check valve 7 for preventing backflow of the refrigerant from the suction pipe 6 to the accumulator 5 during stop of the operation of the compressor 1 or the like. The check valve 7 includes two opening/closing mechanisms A, B which is opened/closed in the forward and reverse directions. When pressure in the reverse direction exceeds a predetermined value with the first opening/closing mechanism A opened in the forward direction by pressure in the forward direction closed, the second opening/closing mechanism B is opened in the reverse direction. In this case, when pressure in the reverse direction becomes gas pressure filled for the leak test, the second opening/closing mechanism B is opened in the reverse direction.
